one thing about hotels in nY...
i used to like boutiques but i tend to like hotels that are like hotels.
my fav is still Le Parker Meridian. make you sure get park view. amazing central park view.
never stay at any Ian Schriger hotels. they are small and nosey and dirty. nice bars but not so nice.
If you want more oldern style, Plaza is nice but for the price, i would stay at waldorf astroia but stay at the towers. its higher and have private entracne.
for soho, i love soho grand.
for consistant service, stay at w hotel. its nice and decent.
