all I said is that it does what most other advertising does, which is use a cheap gimmick to grab attention. i didn't say it was successful - which is my point.
a lot of advertisers seem to think it's enough to get someone to watch the ad. that's easy, the hard part is making them remember what the hell you're selling and have the urge to buy it.
i can't tell you how many of my favorite commercials i have no idea what they are for.
