i have been playing with 2.0...i can pretty much say it will take the place of html some day....(in a manner of speaking)...flex is awesome, its a code authoring environment that when you export an application or document . it utilizes the flashplayer to display content...if you download the 8.5 player be careful, it itself is a bit buggy and a beta of sorts, it was built so basically developers can start playing with 2.0 and not have to turn to garbage like AJAX... the full releases of flex and the flashplayer as of now i think is set for early summer...
