When Cheney moves by motorcade in DC, all trffic is stopped, and first there are 5 motrcycles w/sidecars, the lead suburban, his armored limo, and two more suburbans with open windows w/ guys holding machines guns strapped in free swinging halters looking out and then a van filled with antennae and then a couple of dc police cars. Flashing lights, sirens, the whole schmear.
Pretty impressive and cinematic. The man is!
