    lol...I dont know if that's actually any better, haha :)..
    I was dumbfounded when I came to the states by a campaign that ran on TV down in Phoenix....the:
    "Red Means Stop" campaign, designed, as you may guess, to stress to drivers the importance of stopping in front of those colored lamps when said lamps display a red light.
    This often indicates that traffic travelling in a different direction to you will be using the roadway a little way ahead of you.
    There have been incidents when 2 or more vehicles travelling in different directions have tried to occupy the same piece of highway, and come so close that each has applied a force to the other, altering their directions of travel, and causing the outer surfaces to distort whilst absorbing the kinetic energy. These occurances are known as 'crashes', or 'wrecks', and can have a deliterious effect on the future operations of both vehicle and passengers alike..
    The colored lamp system is operated on many of the countries streets and when vehicle operators observe them, and adjust their speed and position on the road according to them, have proved quite successful.
    In the UK such a system is largely replaced by a circular area, around which motorists travel called a roundabout.
