"The first 65, 22 1/2 minute episodes were written, designed, storyboarded, and voiced-recorded in Canada at Nelvana Animation Studio, while being directed (long distance) by a French director. These episodes were animated in Tokyo, Japan by Tokyo Movie Shinsha, and (a few of the episodes) in Taiwan, before being finished in post production by the same Canadian studio Nelvana that did preproduction, and broadcast in the USA in September, 1983."
