Mimio, Hitler payed lip service to the religious elite, as I'm sure he instructed his upper echelon to do, as well. This doesn't change his personal beliefs and we know of his fascination with Neitzche-esque philosophy and Darwinism. And clearly, we saw the impact of these beliefs on the "inferior" people he massacred.
