I've been with Dreamhost since 1997, and despite a few blips here and there, totally worth the money. They are not the type of company to give you big promises and then not deliver. They deliver, fix problems fast (when/if they happen) and are just a great service to be with.
If you don't want to pay the rock-star prices of mediatemple and get a ton of bandwidth/diskspace at the same time, dreamhost is for you.
