I hear ya on that. That's why I need some girlita friends! I mean, I have a shiteload of acquaintances, but I need some friendsy peoples that are worthwhile, that have some MEAT to them. And yeah, my little sister and I have that thang going on. Friends at school/work are only good for being friends there, generally. But then there's maybe one or two that's pretty cool for outings. But that's rare. Kinda sucks.
Yeah, I constantly try to figure out which people are actually friends or acquaintances a lot. Everybody's a freakin' acquaintance to me, mostly because they like me more than I like them (friendly or otherwise)
So, yeah. I hear ya. But I actually like going out on my own. I get more freedom & freebies. Like the other day. I was a bit ticked, late for work, trying to avoid freeway traffic by alternate routes which ended up being busy as well, and just stuck. This little Mexican vendor was selling roses, and my window was open, so naturally, he came right up to me. I had no money to get any, so I told him in Spanish. But after he walked away, he came back and said I could have free roses because these guys in a truck next to me wanted to buy them for me. I said I'd take'm & they bought'em for me & asked for nothing in return. How sweet is that? It made my little moment. OK, so yeah with that.
