i don't know. The books I have never helped me until i took a 90 hour course. and i don't like it, really. You can have a very nice web experience without so much fancy work. I'm betting my time on js/css/php and video. It feels great to do it and the user gets an hard on on pure web stuff. but this is a biased opinion. sorry.
