zipping shouldn't disrupt the playorder.. its in the mp3's ID3 tags.. track# etc...
as long as your mp3s are tagged properly your buddy will be able to play them in the correct order by using the track# as list.
that said, its pretty much standard in filesharing circles to name your mp3 files with the track # ("01 Songname") so they will drop into your player with the correct playorder.
