    thanks gruntt. it was amazing. i have a shite load of photos i have to take care of. it's going to take me a while. :(

    got lucky though. we wented a car on monday and drove around the island to the north shore, (sunset beach) and happened to come across the grand slam surfing tournament going on. 15-20 foot waves. unbelievable.

    met a couple of the surfers after they shut down the event when the waves got to be too much across the street at this crappy pizza joint. funny dudes.
