... I will agree with that it is hard to fathom what the bible says as true...
... but note a few scriptures directly from the Bible... about the Bible...
2 Timothy 3:16,17 -
"All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, (17) that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work."2 Peter 1:20,21-
"For YOU know this first, that no prophecy of Scripture springs from any private interpretation. (21) For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit. "Yep... that's right... according to the writer's of the Bible... they were inspired by God to write what they wrote... kinda like a secretary dictates her bosses words and then sends out the official letter.
Oh... and once again - if you don't agree w/any of this... then you don't agree w/the Bible... but IT IS what the Bible says.
