I've been designing websites for 8 years now and i still cant code html by hand, as long as I have a capable coder with me everything is fine. In fact I find that I try out new things moreso than i would if i was designing and coding by myself. I push the coder to do and learn things that would take me years. Dont get me wrong, I would love to be able to hand code, but to say that you shouldnt be working with the web if you can code html is arse.
