Facebook is great! It's an easy way to get contact information from people you know from college (that you either forget to ask for or loose accidently) as well as high school (that is, if you want to keep in contact with people from highschool). You can make your profile as complex or as vague as you want. The only people who can view your profile are either people at your school, or people who you choose/approve to be your "Friends" (this can also be changed to be less/more restrictive).
Just don't get addicted to it (I knew too many people at school who did, and it wasn't pretty).
