No you're damn right I said that,
In fact I was waiting for someone to mention the connection and then we went on to talk about education, etc.
There is a direct correlation between crime and poverty.
Read 'Freakonomics' by Steven Levitt, it'll enlighten you.
But trust me, it has to do with morals as well and upbringing. Africa is poor as sh*t and in no way does poverty there match it here and they don't have the same exact issues with crime.
