It's OK. Personally, I am pretty tired of it. It's expensive, the land is flat, people are in general very conservative but the design scene is decent. It's kind of corporate for the most part and the online design scene is all but ignored here but you can make a decent living here. Being from South Texas, I'll always prefer the Austin area due to the scenery. Email me if you need links to studios in the area that are worth checking out. Lots of people hiring right now.
