    omg yes! go to the gorge and take a tour of full sail brewery. if you can't make it out of town you should check out bridgeport brewery in its wicked old piano factory. there's probably loads of new microbreweries as well since i've been back. if you find yourself awake at around 7 am and fancy a margarita, head down to the marathon taverna and drink with the bike messengers. clinton st. (where i used to live) in se is phenomenal. cheese fries at dot's or a sunny day drink at la cruda are well worth it and if you feel like doing something grown-up, visit the rose garden where they have all sorts of mad hybrids. isn't there a new japanese tea garden downtown somewheres these days? that's probably pretty cool. see the home of the slow food movement in the states at city market or bum around at saturday market with the hippies. all good stuff! and sushi is invariably good throughout the city.
