  fuck I hate writing proposals. I think I've written a couple hundred of them.

  Basically, here's my architecture:

  Hello
  ~Cover Letter

  Executive Summary
  ~Outlining how you understand the project

  Proposed Solution
  ~ Usually point-by-point outlining the details. Basically almost exactly what you plan to do

  Sitemap Breakdown
  ~ If it's a website then I break it down section-by-section and explain the content and functionality of each section

  Proposed Budget
  ~ How much is this thing gonna cost?

  Corporate Profile
  ~ This is your company bio

  Key Team Members
  ~ Bios of each of the members you're going to put on the project. Show of force kinda thing.

  Portfolio
  ~ 3-5 case studies that are relevant to the gig you're trying to score

  Client List
  ~ Just a list of your previous clients

  Thankyou
  ~ Contact Info

  I find that it works pretty well.
