    First off, I think you're very talented. Good color choice, typography, and your action-scripting skills are excellent.

    A couple things I noticed...
    When the page first loads (which does take a bit of time, even on high speed), the three featured artists cycle too quickly. I don't have time to finish reading the text. A good general rule – time how long it takes you to read it, then double it.

    Also, the page is designed for screens larger than 1024. 90% of users are still on 1024 or smaller. It's a pretty strange experience when a site is all Flash (ie. photos change off screen when I click on calendar links.) Shrink up you browser and check it out...

    Again overall, very well done.
