Buddylee, I have been called that before. But, never when I was in California. A lot of the black girls I know here are a lot like me.
But, when I lived in Kansas and Ohio, other black people find it a bit weird and interracial dating isn't as common.
California, New York and some parts of floriday are definitely a little bubble. When you go outside of that, things are really different.
