Chainsaw consultant - Outside expert brought in to reduce staff numbers while leaving management intact.
Seagull manager - Executive who flies in to deal with a problem, makes a lot of noise and leaves a lot of excrement.
Brightsizing - A form of redundancy that involves firing the most recently hired staff, who are often the best.
Blamestorming - Sitting around in a group discussing why a project failed and who is at fault.
Decruitment - Firing of staff (opposite of recruitment).
