KDU Consulting Launch 555 Soul Subscript Campaign Feb 28, 08, 5:45 p.m.
Shot by Lynnette Astaire at the KDU headquarters, the campaign features people from NYC that are making things happen.
Bob Partington Feb 18, 08, 12:32 a.m.
Several years ago one of the original KDU members, Bob Partington was exiled by the United States due to some hiccups with Immigration. He moved to Turkey and spent years building and tending his craft in a far off land. Recently Bob relocated to his native Canada and this summer will be returning to New York. We are overly excited to have Bob back in NYC and working on the next grand KDU endeavors. Bob’s art is a combination of engineering, craft and fantasy. Take a few minutes and watch each video… read about each project and get to know one of the true geniuses of the KDU.
HOME HOTEL Feb 18, 08, 12:36 a.m.
Designed like no other hotel on earth, with confidence, restrained
taste, and the Icelandic devotion to eclecticism, Home sets the bar
for a comfort-based approach to the luxury experience in a residence
hotel.
Centrally located in downtown Reykjavik, the five suites of Home
occupy the whole of the locally cherished corrugated iron town house
which sits between the world-renowned party street, Laugavegur, and
key Iceland historical site, the Latin School of Iceland, which
educated most of Iceland's leaders, among them the active President,
and from which Iceland's Nobel Laureate Halldor Laxness
unceremoniously dropped out.
With its location, one could simply sit at the window, watching the
Prime Minister go to work in his office only half a block away, and
watching the fishermen unload their catch from Faxafloi Bay, clearly
visible from Home's hilltop perch, and get a comprehensive feel for
the ebb and flow of Reykjavik.
