Morning QBN, I'm thinking of buying a sat nav app for iphone (3gs) and wondered if any of you guys ever used one? I find the maps app too basic.

hi folks.

i'm learning css and dreamweaver cs4. i'm designing a site for an artist friend of mine and wanted to use fixed positioning for the header. works great in firefox, safari and latest version of IE but not version 7, where the projects shift up to the top of the page underneath the header (which is obviously no good) any ideas? or am i best off not using this fixed idea? is it best to assume that a lot of people have older browsers or should i just go ahead and design for new browsers? what do you guys do?

the site isn't there yet in terms of design, i'm just trying to get the layout sorted. any advice would be helpful...

i recently took my macbook pro to be fixed, the mother board or something had gone wrong which is a known manufacturing fault. anyway its under apple care and my cd drive hasn't been writing to disk for some time now. they said that it was damaged due to my smoking and they had clean out the machine the best they could but because it was due to my own doing they were not at liberty to fix it..

so don't smoke at your mac!

hi folks. i've been asked to design a CV for a mate of mine and she has to email it to the company via a link from a web page. i've designed it in illustrator but when i convert it into a pdf and attach it into the email, the quality degrades and the text is very small..

any other ways i can do this?
