about 4 years ago i hurt my shoulder severely playing golf, i've been going in and out of physical therapy to some of the best rehabs in nyc over the years i had kind of grown accustom to the annoying pain and discomfort, and i guess come to the conclusion i would have just live with this pain the rest of my life...

then, about 5 weeks ago i woke up and thought i had some painful pimples on my neck, as the days went on they got more numerous and worse. by saturday i went to the doctor and he said i had shingles... not even getting up from his chair, and barely looking up, he handed be a anti-viral prescription and walked out of the room. (fyi, shingles is a re-emergence of chicken pox along the nerve path of your body, and it's not real pretty either... and it occurs mostly due to stress)

striking me on all kinds of levels i was determined to rid myself of this ailment, i had seen a cheezy looking chinese massage/accupuncture place around the corner from my house and i decided i needed to check it out....

so, long story short, after just two visits to the accupuncturist, i recovered from shingles in just over a week! just amazing by any standards. upon subsequent visits the accupucturist addressed the pain in my shoulder and did some cupping on my back to remove additional "dampness" in my spinal cord, which totally eleviated my back pain in like 4 minutes!

now, after almost 5 weeks, i feel better than i have in a long while. my shoulder has very little discomfort and i really think i'll be 100% very soon.

i'm really amazed at this type of medical science and i reccommend you try it out next time your not feeling well, you may just be surprised!

a few weeks ago i was at a friend's party and this fairly attractive women, around 30 years old, starts talking with me. come to find out she's visiting from out of town and is married with two kids and over the course of the evening told me that her marriage was on the rocks. well, i really didnt say much to her but lend a sympathetic ear, at the end of the night and a number of beers later, i gave her my business card and told her to keep in contact, not really a big thing but just a nice gesture.

well, over the last number of weeks she started emailing me and then leaving me voicemails on my work telephone looking for me. i sent her a nice email back a couple of times saying it was nice to meet her, blah, blah, blah, and i talked to her maybe a few times and she was pretty much an "in your face" type of girl, saying "i thought we had a connection..." and i told her let's be "friends" as i thought that would be the smart thing to do.

well, again, i accidently pick up my work phone the other day and she was on the other line, she was again kinda "in my face" telling me that she is coming into town for work during the weekend and wanted to know if i wanted to go the thr ryan adams show, being that i'm not into ryan adams, i declined so she asked if i wanted to do something the next night she was in town, i said sure, but thinking we could get a cup of coffee or something, which is fine with me...

last night i was exhausted on my sofa about 10:30pm and my phone rings and again , it was her (twice she called) but i didn't answer... it all starts to feel a little uneasy for me here...

now thinking about it all, and knowing that i'm a pretty mellow guy and how i feel about "in your face" types of women, i'm not really sure what to do and i'm open for any suggestions???
