We're getting a Xerox 7328. We were going to lease but the accountant is telling us to buy.

The printer was released in April 2007 I have no idea of the life-cycle on this sort of thing... £5600 to buy £111p/m to lease, There's also slight saving on click charges if we buy.

Any ideas? Pros/Cons?

hey anybody have any idea how i can download all the linked files on a page (js, css, images), maintaining the site file structure?

we're building some additional static pages for a heavily content managed site and need to keep all the links "absolute relative" (ie.site.com /category /category2 /public_html /style /layout.css). we need to rebuild the directory structure of the entry page (delivered by cms) on the testing server to make sure it all works when it's switched live... i could do it manually, but it's a massive site, so files from different folders all over the place.

A client has sent me wireframes with a menu running vertically (the majority of their competitors shitty websites have 'em)...

I'm going to mock up horizontal and vertical menus for them but It seems the latter is a dying breed... any decent examples? (preferably with expandable sub-menus).

While I'm technically freelance (designer/ developer), the majority of my work in the last year has come from two local entrepreneurs. I also work part-time from one of their offices.

We just landed some investment in a large social media project, and we'll be forming a new company to handle the codebase/IP. We looked at some sweet premises this morning, I've been asked to name my salary and I'm in the process of getting a development team together.

I'm not putting anything in myself other than a small codebase but I'd like to maintain some control over the work that we take on and obviously not get left behind if things take off... What should I be looking for in terms of a share of the company? An other assurances I should be looking for?

Is the country code +001? or +00?

Web stock size restrictions May 13, 13, 9:10 a.m.

In these days of retina displays these seem a little restrictive (a half-width 2x square image on the last site I built is 940 x 940px), are these ever enforced?

Anyone have any idea how I can stop a 3rd party Flash component from tracing out it's status every frame? It's making debugging most unpleasant.
