whatdya thing of those damn liberals?? (that's a question that my roommate posed to me tonight, full knowing that i'm a liberal).

he said that he doesn't see how anyone has a right to bitch about fair treatment in this country and equal opportunity.. it's all what you make of it is his motto. (he's coming from a white suburban background)

basically saying that when someone makes 5.15 an hour at mickey d's they had as much of a fair shake as the next guy

anyone have an idea what's wrong with this?
I'm trying to duplicate mc's based on how many items i have in my xml object. All the XML traces out just fine, and I have a clip in my library with an identifier of 'multiply_mc' and a 'container' on my stage.

ok, so i got a pretty burning email today from a viewer of a site i just launched last week. Telling the owners how he feels about it and such and says it's waaaay too much and reeks like a trendy techno lover with too much pomade.

anyway, grain of salt really.. but the thing that burns me is that he's, what i like to call, "one of those" designers. He lives on slashdot, hates anything that's not php (i got nothing against php), was the designer of the last site that this client had, and says it's waaay too much and feels waaay to edgy.

Anyway, yeah so people obviously should comment on a site because hey, they're the customers and such. But this guy feels to me like he's trying to be the sqeakiest wheel.

Oh well, i got paid for the gig already and any changes are hourly... ya can't win em all.

I just entered some key combo that should work in photoshop and ox s pushed me into a completely black screen! no key combo that I tried could get me out of it... for christs sake, i had to ssh into my own damn laptop to kill it. goddamn apple. screw you.

anyone know of a resource on how to do this in (d)html/javascript? basically, in html, i want to have a div with a flash drop down menu sit over different flash underneath it, but not in the same swf. the html would have to embed 2 swf's.

i've poked around a few tut's on hot to lay flash over html, but nothing so far about flash over flash

ok, so i'm not sure what the hell is up with this, but as of 8 am today, f15's have been making passes around town at an interval of about 1 every 30 seconds! (it's 2pm now)

not sure what the hell is up! (besides the planes i guess)...
but there is an air force base up on the hill about 4 miles away, but i've NEVER heard them do this.. they're almost clipping treetops!

anyone ever come across a scenario like this... my mail subdomain now points to some dude's website instead of being the place where my mail server resides, resulting in me getting server errors when i try to get my mail. all 3 domains that i have hosted under my account point to this address. none of the other domains hosted on the server do this. anyone have a clue to what's up?
