I recently purchased a new car (subaru forester) and I want to be able to play my ipod. I used to have one of those fm transmitters but I hated it. The car has a cd and tape player. Besides purchasing a new stereo, what are my options?

Ok, so we have an inhouse guy that I kinda pushed into being our "web guy" a couple of years ago. He self-learned a lot of stuff but he has never felt confident about the role and feels like he is always behind as far as programming is concerned. I want him to be able to just DESIGN and then we'll farm out the programming side.

My question is... How do we do this? What would he provide to the programmer - the layout in Illustrator or photoshop? Would he layout each and every page with content (photos/copy etc) or just the overall "shell" of the site design with content provided in an indesign (or similar) file. What is the process?

Later on this week a lot of us will be sitting around stuffing ourselves with yummy food, drinking delicious wine and beers, in celebration of Thanksgiving.

Well one our fellow NTer's (ol' school) used to enjoy such decadent meals and drink (you don't get the name Transfatty from eating salads) - but now Patrick is fighting to complete the most important project of his life and he needs our help. Corporate funding would be ideal but truly every dollar counts.

This is a call to rally the troops here at QBN to donate, during this week of "ThanksGIVEing." I know the economy sucks and things are tight. But, speaking for myself, as bad as things seem in the headlines there are no hardships in my life that compare to Patrick's story - and that story will be told, with our help.
