during that time i was hit with learning my previous employer miss-filed my W-4 forms and instead of inputing 1 dependent they keyed in 10 making the govt take no taxes out of my yearly salary, so come tax time i had to shell out the entire years taxes in one shot...$30K

hospital bills and physical therapy bills with no insurance...$23K

rent yearly $24K

i had over $100K in january, now i have less than $1k... today i lost my apartment and i have to leave by the end of the month.

with little to no means of finding a new home i look to you my inner net buddies!!!

any advice, anyone want to purchase a tv, furniture, clothes, comics... please contact me..

im rather freaked out...

woodyBatts made a good point, that we should have a meet-up where "freelancing" is discussed for all to gain a stronger knowledge base on working in NYC as a designer.

why dont we plan something for next week, as we can get a lot more people interacting and participating in the discussion.

perhaps a dinner location where all can sit at a table is best, or just bars.. who knows..

...it has been a long week and its only tuesday.
the weather is getting niiiiice and we need to get out of our shells and just cut loose with each other...

lets plan something for thursday or friday if possible... lets bring back the old days of NT Drinks when over 30 nters would show up!!!

also i know there is a ton of nters who always wanted to join in a QBN/ NT Drinks but never did, so here is your chance to come out and meet some new people whom you read about all day...

march 19th or 20th... nyc... someone pick a spot!!! make it a dive!!! with a dope jukebox!! perhaps an outdoor smoking section or even a rooftop outdoor bar!!!
