Pro alternative to wetransfer or Yousendit

Is there a nice, slightly more professional looking alternative to WeTransfer or Yousendit?

Something that would let you for example specify a domain name or something like that?

Mostly to send large files to clients.

Printing a book in Europe

What is the best place to print a book in Europe these days? As in good price but also good quality.

In terms of magazine I know most people in London print abroad, mostly Spain, Portugal, Italy, Poland.

I just printed a book in London and it was pretty expensive.

OSX turning more and more into iOS

I find the whole way everything is an App now in OS X a bit annoying.

Furthermore the way they turned Final Cut Pro into a higher-end version of iMovie shows where Apple wants to position itself.

If it continues like this there will be a huge gap to create a new platform for professionals.
Or maybe they will be no more Creative Professionals and the entire world would be making films on iMovie, designing on Keynote and photographing on iPhone doing postproduction on Instagram.

Freelance vs Permanent 2012

Thoughts?

Guess permanent you can grow, have more passion, ideas, ownership?

Freelance, you are a bit of a 'faceless freelancer', but earn more money and have more free time it seems.

Would be good to hear experiences out there.
I'm freelancing at the moment in London as Sr. Designer / Art Director.

The only negative thing I see is that I have to work around the clock. And also that you wouldn't really be able to get to Creative Director level if you would go on Freelancing forever...

Bad reference from last job

As in VERY bad... what to do? Would that make getting a new full-time job almost impossible?

Tablets & Mobile Devices Landscape

What a fucking nightmare... is HTML5 going to take off? Or what...

I find it very frustrating. The budget and workforce you need to create a different app for each one of the platforms out there (iOS, Android, Windows Modbile, etc...) is insane.

I just feel I'm missing out on it and getting stuck doing websites.

Best place to do a Design/ Media Masters in the world

What is the best place in your opinion?

I'm looking at either the Royal College of Arts or Parsons in New York. Any thoughts? Other ones?

2012 so far...

I thought it would be an amazing year, but it has been pretty shit so far...

I mean, not a catastrophe. But I haven't seen any aliens or a global spiritual shift yet.

On the other hands budgets are being cut and the economy is on one of it's lowest points.

I'm trying to keep positive though nevertheless.
