I suppose it's probably more 'postmodern' than it is 'ironic' that i would start my portfolio off with a site i recently designed on a site that i recently designed... Either way, I'm happy with how it turned out. And a thumbnail of it deserves to exist on this site that doesn't involve a green circle highlighting a flaw that someone's trying to point out.
Logos: Always a fun challenge. The success of what they're attached to means everything.... so I try not to get too attached.
The design goal with Krop was that it should instantly feel very familiar to creatives as a web-app. I love this site to death, but I'm sure i'll be laughing at the size of the that search box some day soon.
Event site for QBN Sessions 2007. Tried to keep it clean and to-the-point. The photos would rotate as you clicked on them... a small feature that took forever to put together... I don't think one person thought to click... I guess that's my fault?
More shiny shit... I swear to god i love shiny things.
I never loved this site, but it god lots of compliments. It was my first and last attempt at doing my own CSS.
Every time i look at this Krop email i smile. You'll notice it's spring themed... Incase you were *cough* wondering what we were doing in *cough* spring.
Did i mention the shiny thing?
Spent a long time designing for (mt). Sales materials for intangible products are very difficult. Especially when they aren't attached to an attractive culture that that can be visually employed for lifestyle stuff. - Colab with an incredibly talented artist Brendan Mcaffery.
Here's an oldie - 2002? Loved it when i did it, and it turned out to be an incredibly successful site for the company. Brendan and I ripped off the "matrix" server room idea and rendered it... We got lot's of complaint that the "stock photo" we used was boring...
