I know I've seen several of these, especially from studios and such, but I can't for the life of me find any decent ones at the moment.

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Playboy founder Hugh Hefner's mansion is for sale at $27.995 million. Not the storied Playboy Mansion, but the one next door, a neighboring two-story English manor-style residence that sets on 2.3 acres and backs up to the Los Angeles Country Club.

This mix is a tribute to an era when the names Warp and The Designers Republic were so intrinsically linked, they may as well have been the same company. All tracks are taken from Warp releases (bar one) where the artwork was created by tDR. Also, all are in chronological order of release, starting way back in 1990 right up to 2008.

Let me start out by apologizing for starting another YouTube based thread. But seeing a reference to "Build" by The Housemartins brings back incredible memories of a time in my life, where I was experiencing my first awkward sexual encounters with girls. A time were hormones, feelings, and attempts at impressing the opposite sex where completely out of control.

This thing is driving me insane. I have (had) a typeface called "B-7X5/01", but it's not on my system anymore. All I have is an empty font folder with the name "B-7X5/01"
I can't find anything by searching for it on Google.
I have absolutely no recollection as to where I got it from.

What do you like in typefaces? Meaning, what is in typefaces that you look for/at? Personally, I always first look at certain letters (s, k, g...) in sans serifs, and for the sharpness/curviness in serifs.
Is there a methodology to your fondness of certain typefaces, or is all based on gut feelings, trends, and purpose?

Hollywood Sign Land Feb 3, 09, 12:32 p.m.

A friend of mine owns the land that the famous Hollywood sign sits on. He owns about 5 acres or so all together there, and have for many years now. Ideally, he would like to sell it to the city of Los Angeles, so it can be preserved as a landmark. The problem is, that the city is unwilling/unable to fork out the cost of the property. He's considering selling it to private parties, but is fearful that some obnoxious wealthy idiot is going to built something outrageous and ruin the place.
