  Nice stuff. BUT I counted three orphans in his descriptions and stopped looking. I know it's the web and blah blah blah but that shouldnt be acceptable on a designers portfolio. Also alot of use of 'I' .
  So the critique here is sweat the details, which I know I can do alot more as well.

  I fell the scrolling was a bit excessive for seven projects.
  Though, I like that he really made the site his own, which made more interesting/enjoyable.

  I thought I'd rewrite it for him;

  "These are some of the things I wanted to be when I grew up, but instead, I ended up as an Interactive Designer. You can view my work and read my thoughts about design below. I hope you enjoy."

  Grammar (and I probably got something wrong myself) Nazi aside, he's got quite a high calibre of work on display.

  the site def plays up his work, which is not a lot quantity wise. Good quality visually though. The grammar stuff is funny though. God, I think my next site will have no text at all.

  1. You're going to knock an "over-used" font and replace that with another "over-used" font? Smart.

  2. Learn what orphans and widows are then go back over your site and clean it up. This says that you're uneducated on the art of typography.

  3. Learn who to write with proper grammar. If you can't, hire someone to do the writing for you.

  

  4. Couldn't you just a fake a few names instead of repeating Mike Jones three times and naming another person Lorem Ipsum.

  Overall the work is visually aesthetic, but very unrefined. If he paid more attention to the fine details and technical flaws this work could be top notch. Seems very junior.

  ^jokes aside, really nice work and cool/fun site.

  The wide images are bold, but if it were my site i would worry about how it renders on small screens when it doesnt appear to resize. This is entirely relevant to your audience of course.
