"inventor of ..." sounds quite pompous imho.
i have seen pretty nice tags outside every now and then that are on the edge of grafitti and calligraphy.
he masters it and takes it to another level, but inventor, no.
inventors hardly exist in graphic design or art, it's only process, logical progress in design or arts evolution.
everyone watches everyone.
