This is a perfect example of what a portfolio should be like, so simple to use and shows you the artists work with just one click no bullshit. Love it, grate work Sam!

Very very nice work and website. The logos on his letterheads are all too big for my taste, but otherwise aces all around.

I like the work, however the overall look and feel of the portfolio both hurts my eyes and seems very "Hey! I know Flash too!" without taking consideration of the user.

    • really? I think it's nice and restrained.monNom

question (unrelated to his work)...do people use like images of blank letterhead/paper and photoshop graphics on it and 'fake' that it was actually printed?

    • either way is fine because no matter what it is, good work is good workMrDinky

mind you digival, this site has been on his mind for months, it was not just "hey i know flash" it was thought process that he went through for about 8-10 months. with variations over and over.

just like all great designers, sam is very critical of his work and the end result is just excellent.

    • Well, its subjective. Its just not my archetype - if we all liked the same thing, the world would be a boring place, now wouldn't it?digival

digival - in what way does it not consider the user? it's a clean, easy to use site that showcases his work beautifully.

i think it's you that didn't consider this feedback more like it...

    • I'm sorry, the transparency in the beginning is a bit hard on the eyes - at least my own - I wasn't bashing it - I like his work. I'm just giving critique like the rest of you - sorry if I don't kiss peoples asses just because they've worked with big name clients.

    I love his work.

Maybe it's because my screen is small, but I don't like the fade-in to the work when you mouse-over something. I'd like to see everything clearly right away, and on my computer I had to squint to decide which project I wanted to click on.

Also, for some reason it won't work on FF3, but did load quickly in Safari.

    • dont think the site was tested on FF3.MrDinky1/3
      works for me on FF3forcetwelve2/3
