'When I saw Paul Stones' work I recognized a soulful feeling that went into his illustrations further than his graphic brilliance. He captures a mood within his detail. This is important since very few illustrators are connected like Paul is to Hip Hop and Rap. I recognized this in 2003 that he could possibly create two covers for Public Enemy NEW WHIRL ODOR and 2007s' HOW YOU SELL SOUL TO A SOULLESS PEOPLE WHO SOLD THEIR SOUL??? which would speak loudly in the years to come , if only just by his art alone'
