Been working on this super simple surf forecast system for the most part of 2012. Getting a bit of traction, and gradually building out the features. Check it and see what you think!

as someone that uses another swell site in australia on a regular basis - i feel I am in a good position to make a comment as I am your target audience. Firstly, well done. As already has been said its a nice no-fuss, uncluttered site. That delivers me the information I need.
I do agree with the comment on the maps - in fact i would prefer the maps to switch positions with the swell height chart - I know where Sydney is, I dont know what the swell is like.
Nice, I will bookmark and use. Get a couple of surfcams in there and you got me moving from your competition.
- or ultimately....live streaming beach cams in place of maps ;)rabbit

it seems like his direction is to present a quick view of the info. if you want swell charts, satellite images and streaming video, use surfline. i think this is more for a quick check.

Thanks everyone for your feedback.
@rabbit - stoked thanks! Be sure to check out the alerts too, they may convince you :) - It feels good to get a positive reaction and know that someone is going to get value from the site. I've actually been getting out and about to surf shops spreading the word and handing out stickers, and the reaction is keeping me going with it.
My aim has been basically to follow a process of attrition. There are so many ways to present surf forecast data, and so many sites that just throw everything at you. I've been trying to reduce it all down to a concise package. I know this isn't going to work for everyone.
Definitely the maps are somewhat redundant. I'm sowing seeds for a redesign in the new year, and these will be something I look at.
Thanks!

looks nice. why do you use that link instead of sweelca.st like you have on the logo?

I may some changes to geographical focus since I had the logo designed, and hence the new .au domain name. The logo is being modified to reflect the changes.
