  The role of president never really had all that much power. This isnt a dictatorship. Even he can be thrown out of office legally if he makes 1 mistake.

  He has advisors for everything, everything he wants to do needs to be approved. He's a figurehead, a leader, not 1 guy fixing everything. Obama is doing as well as anyone could do with this mess that Bush handed him. We're seeing small improvements here and there. Noone could do better with a recession than get some small little victories over just 3 years. Give him another 4.
