This instructions above apply if you have the Airport connecting via ethernet to your router, and the Airport is acting as your Access Point.
If you're using the Airport as a client device to connect via Wifi to another router, you might want to consider starting over with the core router too.
Yes, it might take a while to reconfigure these bits and get them working properly, but it's better than bitching at the machine 3 or 4 times a day.
