just brought in by first batch of peppers this evening. these things will stay in season for the next 3 months at least. In fact, last year i was still getting some growing after the first winter snow.

I've also got plenty of tomatoes on the way, and cucumber, rhubarb and squash. apples are just about finished- and we've been preserving as many as possible - but mostly i'm looking forward to the persimmons. My wife makes jams and bread out of them... man i feel like an old man... high school me would not be impressed...
