Read the book quick before seeing the film. The film failed to capture the true desperation, hardship, suffering, hunger and struggle in the Games themselves. For example, in the book, Katniss nearly dies of thirst and dehydration before finding water while in the film it shows her dashing into the woods, filling her canteen and roasting squirrels right away. These types of liberties with the depiction totally alters the feeling of the Games from what they are in the book. For this reason I feel the film didn't do the book justice.
