Looks pretty awesome as a standalone device and nice comeback from Akai who've been nudged out of the market lately by all the software and controller combo's.
Folk that are looking for controllers for ableton etc will stick to the MPD32 etc
I think the market for this MPC is the original MPC crowd, the diehards who have stuck by their MPCs and held off moving onto computer based platforms.
I wonder if it'll hurt NI's Maschine ?
