  Quicktime is dodgy and can cause colours to shift, I use HandBreak but the UI is fucking annoying in that you have to reset the size manually if the movies are not the same size (it does the first automatically then fucks the rest IIRC) and it automatically names them m4v instead of mp4 for some fucking stupid reason

  • they chose m4v as they also use m4a for aac audio. makes more sense than mp3, mp4.– eficks
