  I think the blue header is holding things back. Visually, it's very prominent on the page, but it doesn't really offer anything. Try making it white to shift focus to the nav and homepage promo area.

  On the promo area, the new type styling is an improvement, but this element should have the most visual weight on the page. a background colour would help here. Try the plum or a rich blue.
  IMO The product should be primary and the box it comes in secondary.

  The plum background is a bit much. The pale blue would help place focus on the page
