  And on the the critique:

  Pretty blase. I guess it works for what it is. Although again, nothing exceptional jumps out at me or makes me hate it.

  The masthead color also doesn't seem to gel real well with the way you've chosen to style your links and nav colors. That complement seems pretty contrasting... maybe something more tertiary or even monochromatic for color? Just a suggestion.
