  "I get inappropriate urges all the time.

  Like randomly wanting to throw food at people in a restaurant, just to see their reaction. Or yelling out completely obscene and nonsensical things in a public place. Again - just to see people's reaction."

  This happens to me too. I'd wager this happens to a lot of people. Unless the urges are constant and overwhelming, and/or you act on them, I think you're sane.
