A new function added to the updated app is the Push Notification function that alerts users of snowfalls at their favorite resorts at 24, 48 and 72 hour intervals. Also, higher resolution trail maps and avalanche advisories are also made available. A even better news– the app is still free for all to download at the iTunes store
