  This is like pulling the plug on the projector and shouting "It's all over, you can all go home now!!" three-quarters of the way thru a movie.

  i think if some sort of opinion, for or against the alleged offender, from someone in some sort of authority position would go a long way to engendering good will amongst the populace here, no? Rather than saying "Shut up you kids!" and waiting for it all to sink away?
