    Does it only use poly plates? Otherwise you can just run down to the art supply and get a small linoleum block to carve.

      I don't think hand carving a block would produce effective letterpress artwork, unfortunately.monospaced2/6
      It's about precision and accuracy and level surfaces and such.monospaced3/6
      actually it's commonplace to use lino-cuts... the blocks are premade almost exactly type height.ismith4/6
      i was an intern at a letterpress studio in 09. i printed all my linocuts on a vandercook proof press.ismith5/6
