  is 3D essentially the same thing as 2D, just you can rotate the images...you used a term "modeling" is that meaning "rendering" or is that meaning the concepting of the shapes?

  • To oversimplify: Modeling is the creation of the 3d forms in space. Rendering is the taking a picture of those forms.– luckyorphan
